Budget Analyst

Seeking a Budget Analyst to be responsible for preparing the Annual Budget, which includes for Expenses, Capital, and Headcount.

Specific duties include: Compile data and schedules for Annual Budget. Allocate the annual expense budget to the appropriate months. Track fixed asset spending against the annual Capital Budget. Provide backup on a monthly basis for the credit facility draw down. Analyze all expense accounts on the income statement for accuracy. Analyze expense variances on Income Statement and determine if any reclassification of expenses is necessary. Process journal entries to re-class expenses as necessary. Research and analyze monthly expense variances. Provide explanations for significant expense variances. Review fixed asset check requests and code with capital project number and verify general ledger coding. Enter fixed assets into FAS and run monthly depreciation reports. Enter monthly depreciation entries. Prepare M-1 schedule quarterly. Review partner office allowance check requests and enter onto tracking spreadsheet. Reconcile the Security Deposits account.
